Hello and Welcome!

My name is Jacob, a husband to a wine-blogger wife, father to two bouncy-boy toddlers, and I'm the owner/author of My Personal Finance Journey. By day, I am a scientist working in bio-pharmaceutical development. Personal finance has been my hobby since 2007 when I started teaching myself through books (that finance B.S. degree didn't teach me much!). Learning how to save, adopt a frugal mindset, and invest my own money soundly has allowed me to have a savings rate > 50%, increase my net worth by > 20 times, grow my career, and always do what I love. Good day readers! One of my higher priority blogging goals for the 2011 year is to offer several free giveaways on my site. As such, I’m always on the look out for cool offers that I can share with you all. I have a nice one today!

The giveaway is for 3 sets of 500 high-quality business cards from All Business Cards.com. I recently won a set of 500 business cards from an All Business Cards.com giveaway on MaximizingMoney.com, and they were gracious enough to agree to extend the same giveaway deal to My Personal Finance Journey!

Follow the instructions below to accumulate points to qualify to win one of the three sets of 500 business cards! Due to shipping costs, this contest is only open to US and Canadian residents.

About The Cards

The cards can be single or double sided, printed on thick 16pt card stock, and have a Glossy UV finish, a Matte Finish, or can come uncoated.
The winners will pay absolutely nothing for the business cards, as the cards will be 100% free. The cost of the cards, printing, and UPS ground shipping is included in the prize.
Shortly after July 4th, 2011, the winners will be contacted via the email address provided in your comment for verification purposes, and then All Business Cards will contact you directly to help you claim your prize.

Remember, the deadline for entries will end on July 4th, 2011 at 11:59pm (3 weeks from today). Good luck to you all! Please contact me if you have any questions.

    Well, sure: I could mightily use some business cards. Need them for The Copyeditor's Desk, my other little side business, which is finally starting to take off. We've been using DIY cards printed on Avery labels and…well…ahem! They're just a LITTLE tacky

    Here's my comment on how I'll use the biz cards: I'm printing my blog, AffordAnything.org, on them, and passing them out at the Financial Bloggers Conference in Chicago this October, as well as the Society of Pro Journalists conference in New Orleans in September!

    I also plan to use the cards as freebie handouts during events I appear at…and may turn some into magnets for refrigerators and such. I plan to increase points by research and daily reading.

    Thanks I am in! I am planning to distribute the cards to each of my 400 colleagues who work from the same building. Rest of 100 I will give to my neighbors. my blog is actually a hobby, not yet a business. So will utilize the cards in promoting my blog

    I think I have done most of the things on your list. However I still need to look at your site on Alexa, and complete your quiz/survey.
